Greetings! I'm Gloria. I'm a 30's something chick who lives in Indiana. I'm a Christian. I have been for 5 years now. Thank God! I'm still learning tons, especially patience and just recently
anger management. I'm usually a happy-go-lucky-love-to-laugh-kinda girl, but even the littlest things tick me off, hence, the anger management. My computer has been horrible to me as of late. Virus, perhaps? Idk. With God's help things are running smoothly, I've been able to fix most of the problems. I'm able to get online when I want, that's a plus, but the sound device is down, that's a minus. Not sure what happened. Can't listen to the music or play certain games and I'm all bummed out. It's all fixed, so I'm better now! WHEW!
On a happier note, I love so many things! God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! Without them--I'm nothing. My family, friends (which includes my snailmail buddies...you know who you are! lol! ), and my cat.
I love music! I'll listen and give anything a chance. My 2 fave bands both come from the Las Vegas area. THE KILLERS and PANIC! AT THE DISCO. I've seen each of them once in concert and was blessed to have met both bands. What a great bunch of guys! On my other lj account is my Killers fanfic. I never finished it tho. :( Maybe when I get in the mood or if I finish my other fanfic, I can get back to it.
Just like music, I love books. I love anything that attracts my attention. Chicklit, horror, action, classic, true crime, how to's, references, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, inspirational and so on. I love Anne Rice and her Vampire Chronicles. Red Dress Ink ones as well.
Movies, movies and more movies! I just can't get enough! lol. I usually rent versus going to the theater. Unless it maybe something I desperately need to see or one of my fave actors are in it. To tell the truth, the last movie I saw in the theater was "Smokin' Aces" with Jeremy Piven. OMG! Love that man! (UPDATE!) I actually went out and saw "X-Files: I Want To Believe" the weekend it came out. I love David Duchovny and I'm a huge fan of the show. Really bummed that it only made it to 4th place after "Dark Knight," "Step Brothers," and "Mamma Mia." UGH! MUSICALS! BLAH! Top 5 fave movies of all time....hmmm....1. The Godfather 2. Jaws 3. Back to the Future 4. Memento 5. Shaun of the Dead. But these could change in an instant, depending on my mood.
Magazines! I buy alot. I like to trade them with my trader friends, of course. I'm collecting now on my 2nd fave show after LOST (which I'm also collecting on. lol.) is Prison Break. I have a thing for Wentworth Miller. And I'm a Michael/Sara shipper. I want them to be together. There's absolutely no other way! Other mags I love to get: US Weekly, OK, Star, People, In Touch and Stars and Style. AND anything else that involves my fave actors.
TV! Here's the good stuff! LOST, Prison Break, Entourage, 24, Heroes, X-Files, Alias, Charmed, Angel, Buffy, Amazing Race, Man vs. Wild, SurvivorMan, Dinner Impossible, anything Samantha Brown, Days of Our Lives, and Hannah Montana lol!
And right now I have a major crush on actor Jeremy Davies who plays "Daniel Faraday" on LOST!
